FAQs

    • The Reservation Process: An inquiry does not constitute a booking. Dates are held exclusively for 48 hours following the issuance of a formal proposal.

    • Securing the Date: A booking is finalized only upon receipt of a 30% non-refundable retainer and a signed Service Agreement.

    • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due strictly 14 days prior to the event date.

    • Minimum Requirements: Peak-season Saturday bookings require a minimum of 4 makeup services.

    • Changes to Party Size: The number of services can be increased (pending time availability) but cannot be reduced by more than one (1) person once the retainer is paid.

    • Skin Preparation: Clients must arrive "Prep-Ready" (exfoliated 24h prior, no deodorant, oils, or perfumes). Vannah-Jane Artistry is not liable for results affected by poor skin preparation or improper aftercare.

    • Studio Arrival (Beecroft): Please arrive at your scheduled time. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may be treated as a "No-Show" to protect the schedule of the following client.

    • Mobile Setup: A clear 2m x 2m area with access to a power outlet is required for the professional extraction system.

    • Group Bookings: Groups of 5+ require a 50% deposit.

    • Travel Calculation: Travel is charged per kilometer from the Beecroft Studio (2119).

    • Parking Fees: For all mobile services (Hotels, CBD, or Private Residences), the client is responsible for providing or validating parking. Any fees incurred will be added to the final invoice.

    • Early Starts: Services beginning before 6:00 AM incur a $50/hour early morning fee.

    • Relocation: If the artist is required to move locations mid-service (e.g., from a hotel to a venue), a relocation fee applies.

    • Contagious Conditions: For the safety of the studio, I reserve the right to refuse service on any client showing symptoms of contagious conditions (e.g., cold sores, conjunctivitis, open wounds, or viral infections).

    • Allergies: It is the client's strict responsibility to disclose all known skin allergies or sensitivities prior to service. Vannah-Jane Artistry is not liable for adverse reactions to professional-grade products used during any service provided"

    • Artist Illness: In the extreme event of artist illness, every effort will be made to provide a high-level replacement. If no replacement is found, all monies paid (including the retainer) will be refunded.

    • Non-Refundable Retainers: All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. This covers the loss of potential income from other inquiries for that date.

    • Bridal Cancellations: If a wedding booking is cancelled within 60 days of the date, 50% of the remaining balance is due. If cancelled within 30 days, 100% of the total balance is due.

    • Tanning Cancellations: Individual appointments require 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur a 100% fee.

    • Portfolio Use: I reserve the right to take photos and videos of my work for professional portfolio and social media use. If you wish to opt-out, please state this prior to your service and it will be respected.

    • Commercial Usage: Standard makeup services do not include global licensing/usage rights for commercial campaigns unless explicitly outlined in a separate Commercial Contract.
